I continue to work on my meditating yogini lady. This journey has continued for over a year and I’m determined to finish this month (or the next😊).

Hand stitching has been a metaphor for living these past few months. After leaving the Gee’s Bend Yoga Retreat in August 2019, every stitch was a gift of excitement, appreciation and preparation for a trip to India in December. Each stitch afterward up and down, in and out, was me stepping lively into the new year. By mid-March through now, I’ve ebbed and flowed with the highs and lows of living through a deadly pandemic. There’ve been when I could only look at my lady. Other times, I sit and stitching becomes meditative moments that lead to hours of inspiration, creative work and gratitude.
